My folder

I couldn't think until I finished this one, this is one to keep. I don't know if i will be a sample or for my use.... haven't decided. But we will have to have a class for these! too fun, and a thousand possibilities!

A Fun Thing

I tried to post this yesterday and couldn't. So I scanned it and here we go....

Just some info, I will try to post something crafty sometime this evening!

A entire day's work

I have wanted to make one of these fun folders. So Scott and I hatched a plan to make one for Brett to give him as a going away present.

I had a hard time picking a theme, and Scott came up with the prayer planner.

As you open it, there is a place for contacts, and to do lists, and a calendar.

Open it again, and you will have a place for prayer requests, praises, and answered prayers. There is a pocket for Brett to use as he needs it.
This was tons of fun to make, and I bet the next one will go faster! I will work on it after I pick up boys, maybe a shopping theme!

thanks again Kayla!

Kayla gave me the idea for this sign! I needed a clock in my room, I always look at the thermometer to see what time it is, and that doesn't always work so good. I had planned on putting a clock on my christmas list, but at 1:30 am last night when I couldn't sleep, I remembered buying clocks at IKEA to stamp! woo hoo! thanks K!

a good way to spend $30!

I am not one to advocate over spending. I mean really, with gas at $3 a gallon and milk at $4, I am all for a bargain.
I don't really know what possessed me to even buy these scissors. I did, and I am happy about it! At first there is some level of guilt with spending $30 on scissors, I could have gotten two pairs of tennis shoes for the boys with that. Among other things. But these are some serious scissors. I had pretty much figured I wouldn't be impressed, I mean think about what they would have to do to validate their price! But the first time I used them.... I was overcome with JOY! Yes friends, these scissors make me happy. they cut clean and easy. I have bought three pairs of paper snips, at $10 each, which I love them, but these have become my favorite! If you want to try them out, come on over! If you want to buy some, mention seeing them here, and I will give you 15% off! That is how much I love them!

if you can't beat them....

Well, my sweet husband didn't want me to over do it today, so he let me sleep in, and while I was asleep, he canceled all my activities.... what a guy. I know he is ready to give homework, lunch packing, laundry, dinner making and all those mom jobs back! He has been a real blessing while I was down, he makes a great nurse, lucky for me!

I started these Saturday, so I finished them up tonight. Since I didn't get to have my friends over! They are for Jonathan to take to his class, since he can't give out goodies, we went with pencils! fun stuff.

I will be having my open house this Thursday night, October 25th from 6:30 to 8:30. I will be giving away two really cool door prizes! Come and see! You can make an ornament, and see all the gift ideas for the holidays that we will make at our gift classes!

Hope to see you soon!

Monday Monday

Hi guys!
A special Thanks to all who were at Scrapping 4 Inclusion.
We raised $700. I appreciate you all.
Hopefully I will be able to get out in my room and get things put away and then make something to post. I may have to post something I made Saturday.
Hope you all had a great weekend. And I hope to see you all soon.

before I pack

I need to be packing my things up to take over to the crop.... but I am making this instead!

This is what we will be doing for the open house make and take! I have a few GREAT door prizes to give out too!
There are three variations, so if you want to make a picture one, BRING photos.
Windy made something similar at the retreat and everyone went nuts and begged me to offer it, I don't remember exactly what she did, so I did THIS.....
Lots of fun! Come and enjoy!

how cute,fun, and easy!

I saw this on the stampin' librarian's site... so cute. I made it a little different!
I made it so fast too. got to love that!

Fall Cards for a friend

Funny how when a four year old is helping you, things don't always turn out straight!
A friend at church asked me to make some fall cards for her to send out pictures of her sweet baby boy in a pumplin patch in.
So the blue card was my first attempt. I love those colors and that set, but I knew it wasn't right. Luckily Melissa stoped by on her way home from getting her poor sick baby some meds, and talked it over with me.... and the pumpkin card is perfect! I hope Deana thinks so too. Two heads are always better than one! Thanks Melissa!
As a bonus, I got to use up some of my guava paper. And I am glad to know a new color I can use with it. It stumps me.
I used bitty boos too, happy everything, groovy guava, really rust, and chocolae chip, scallop punch, 1 3/8" punch, 1" punch, and the paper piercing stuff.

what i did today instead of everything else

I am a nester. I like to nest. I also like to renest. Can't help it.

So instead of doing anything else today, I spent the entire day on my room.
Last night i had my clubbers here, and we loved working out there, but my stuff was in the house. Not anymore. I am an all or nothing kind of girl.
So, Jeremiah and I put a lock on the door, well two, and set to moving it all out!
I am thrilled! Ladies.... start your engines.... we have a stamp room!
this is the picture looking into the room from the back door.
next is from the back corner towards the door
then there are spot shots!
Come and check it out!
Well, I just realized that the first picture you put on is the last one shown, sorry.... read backwards! ;)
thanks!

We had such a great time making these bitty books. They are pretty fast to make, and are great gifts for anyone! Stampin' Up! has the bitty books, and papers, and you can make an entire book for under $15!

So the last few days have been rough. Fun thought. Carnival, Scrap club, teacher appreciation lunch and Stamp club. I am enjoying being lazy today, or at least I hope to!

I do have plans to be productive, later. much later.

I am getting really excited about Saturday. I am having a hard time deciding what all to take, and will probably end up bringing it all. There is still room if you would like to join us. Even if you can only make part of the day, it will be a great time! see the sidebar for a link to details.

Well, I am also excited about the stamp camp of gifts..... more to come! stay tuned. should I make something today, I will post it for you. cross your fingers! ;)

good morning rainy day

Well, I don't have a new picture to post, or do I? I will have to see what I might have waiting in my file....

I will get a new project up tomorrow. Today is another busy day. I am waiting out the rain so I can go to the school for the teacher appreciation lunch, and then stamp club. at some point I might need to pick up stuff. haven't really decided. you know, how bad does it have to get before you deal with it? pretty bad for me.

I am really excited about some of the stuff we will doing soon. and lots of people have been requesting a stamp a stack. so be on the look out for a stamp camp with lots of gift ideas and a stamp a stack.

I need to work on some cards for friends, that will be my next thing to tackle. Oh, and did I tell you that my sweet friend's husband got my electric and A/C going? just ask what the problem was, it will give you a chuckle for sure! ;)

OK, i need to find an umbrella, the rain wins and I need to go! Have a blessed monday!

This is a picture of a mouse pad I made for Scott for Father's day. Stamp on this has them, if you would like to make one for the gift stamp camp, I will order some, just let me know.

thanks so much!

getting close!

I am getting so close to having all my samples made. I kinda got stuck on the western stuff. It is funny, I didn't really like that set all that much, but it has really grown on me, and I am so glad I have it.

Once I get all my samples made, I will post them with prices, and plan a time for us to make them. I got plenty of supplies for all!

I need to get dressed, it is almost 1:00 pm and I am in my pjs! I have to be at the carnival in a few hours to set up! If you need a fun outing, come to the Spring Valley Elementary Carnival! I will be there!

too cute!

Thank you Kayla!

My friend, Kayla, showed me a DVD tin that some one altered her for a gift.

So, I had to try it. I am pretty excited to have one more thing made for my collection of gift items!

this is the outside, it uses mostly the designer papers, Outlaw, and some of the stamps from Wanted. The Alpha is typeset, and the saying is from polka dots and paisley.

The inside has a pen to match! There is a pocket to tuck away a note, or something else.

This isn't like me

So do you ever have things that you really need to be doing, but just can't do them?

That would be the story of my life. I have too many things going in my head, to settle down and wash those dishes. I guess I still am part little girl!

Also, I am not a big Halloween fan, I didn't mind it when working at the nursing home, in fact, we had lots of fun with it. But having children, it just wasn't something I wanted to encourage.

So much for that!

Being "room mom" makes you do crazy things. Seriously crazy things.

I will be up at the school tomorrow to help sort class shirts for the school, and then I get to sell ice cream at lunch time. Since I would be at the school anyway, thought I would take a seasonal treat for the teacher's desk. Don't know if she will be able to give them to the kids or not, but it will be cute in her room. Surely she will be able to sneak them to the kids. She is a bit of a rebel, like me. ;)

I thought these turned out cute, and were lots of fun. Plus I got to watch "Grey's" while doing them!

Next class room project? Pencils with tags.... fun times!

Cori's Club Card

Here is the spinner card we will make at Cori's show Monday night.

I can make a spinner card, thanks to Kath.

more ideas

Here are the rest of the goodies I am working on. I am excited about all the things we will get to make soon!

Scrap Club

Well, it has been another full morning! Having a four year old is tons of fun, but that doesn't leave much extra time! He has a friend from church now, so he is pretty happy. So, I can upload some more pics!

Here are the pages I made for the Scap book Club that will meet this Sunday.

Well, I need to go, I don't want to, but I NEED to! I will add the other photos when I get home... then I will need to get back to creating! that is the fun part. Although I like to share too, hmmm.

this is a binder clip, I also have jumbo ones to make. They can hold photos, recipe cards, notes, anything.

I need to work on my camera settings... put that on my to do list! It is getting long!

I have always loved the Demo planner, I don't use it to it's full potential, I admitt, but I love it.

well, like everything I grow fond of, it is no longer offered. Well, I refuse to go with out! ;)

Here is what I have done. Lots of fun, and in doing this, I have learned so much, so that the next one I make will be even better! And I have thought of several people who might need such book for a gift!

More fun stuff to share

I have some other gift ideas ready to post. Some you will have to see to get the full effect.

I still have a ton to make. However, this will get us all started!

Thanks for looking!

I did most of the items in the same paper series, of course you could alter colors and papers and make it for any time year you'd like!

I made this book mark for my sister's birthday! She really seemed to love it. I am pleased with it.
It will be one of many gift type items I will be posting for you. I will be planning a gift stamp camp soon! and you too can make all kinds of fun things to give away. It is getting close to that time of year!

A few thoughts on blogging

Well, I thought a while back that I would like to start a blog. Scott's responce was, "because you have so much spare time!" that's my boy, king of scarcasim. So I abandoned the idea, for a bit at least. The last few days I remembered why I first wanted to blog. It would be easier for you to come here and see what I am up to, than for me to email you pictures you can't open! ;)

Why Stamp Therapy? Because so many of my friends whom I stamp with, really need that time and consider it therapy! We all need to be creative, and stamping is a great outlet! I do not claim to be a great stamper, nor do I come up with all the ideas. But I would love to share with you what I do, what I create and hopefully inspire you to be your creative best!

It will take me a while to get the site the way I want it, so bare with me. I would hope to add tidbits often. I have grown to love a few sites that add stuff every day, and I always look forward to seeing their latest creations! I hope to become that for you!

Check back! Comment! Have fun! STAMP!
