challenge reminder

Hey guys! I haven't been able to "browse the Internet" today due to a security issue with my firewall. If you know what that means, you are ahead of me!

Anyways, it is creeping along, so I wanted to remind you of the challenge. Please take a piece of junk mail, or something recycled, and make a new creation with it. scan it, or take a picture of it and email it to me! Then on April the 7th (one week from today) I will draw a winner! woo hoo!

just for review, here is the original item, and the new creation.....

I can't wait to see what you come up with.

If I can "browse" tomorrow, I will post my card for stamp club!

Quick and Cute

So, Wednesday I issued a challenge! I hope you are looking around your house and in your mailbox for something to use! I made mine in about 3 minutes with scraps! I am actually pretty pleased with it!
See the previous post for the original item! See, super easy! See and this makes us enviornmental... we are recycling, reusing.... cool, huh?I had such a great time last night at the one sheet wonder. I have to say that I must be the most blessed woman. My "business" has brought some of the most wonderful people into my life. And my friends have embraced my passion and share in it. I can never express how much you mean to me, and how thankful I am for you guys. You are a joy to have, and I only hope that I can continue to encourage and inspire you to be creative. It is a blessing to me that you come to my home and share of your self the way you guys do. You confide in me, you lift me up, you share your heartaches and joys! all I can say is WOW.

Happy Easter

Have I told you how very much I LOVE Easter? That and Christmas.
I had a great Easter celebrating with my families! Saturday was a beautiful day and I got to enjoy 34 aunts/uncles/cousins/2nd cousins/siblings, etc. And Sunday was a great day at church and then we got to celebrate with Scott's family. Now I have three huge buckets full of candy, and you know I will eat my share of it! So sad.

Well, I missed you all this weekend. Sorry I didn't post, I ran off to mom's early Friday.

But I hope you think this was worth the wait.... Jonathan told me that people love me for my crafts, funny kid.

This is a travel sized Tic Tac Toe game! how cool is that? I mean, it is practically perfect in every way. It is made in an altoild tin. This is one of the fabulous ideas I have for our gift club, that I really hope makes! ;) Hope you all have a terrific day! The sunshine is wonderful.

new twist on an old friend

I got the little silver favor tins last fall, and used them for all kinds of fun stuff. They were a bit larger than 2 inches. Now, I have found smaller ones! They are 1 1/4 inches! teeny and cute!
So, I have made two little tooth fairy containers! lots of fun! you can keep all the lost teeth in them, or just use it for putting under the pillow and collecting quarters with. You can even put a magnet on the back to keep it on the fridge if you'd like. lots of options!

re-do

I was told by two people whom I adore that the picture of the napkin ring was TOO dark! sorry.
Here it is again. Thanks to my mom and Kayla!

This is out of the board book pieces from our catalog, I showed you the coupon book earlier, this is a mini scrap book from ski trip, funny thing is, I haven't put any pics inside yet.... it will happen.
I wanted to make Easter cards to send to my sweet friends that send me Christmas cards, but Easter was way too early this year... However, I can celebrate Easter all year! Because He lives!

Napkin Rings!?!?!

Yes my friends, I bring to you NAPKIN RINGS! How cool is that?

You know my wonderful friend in Colorado, Stamp on This, had them in her store, and when I went to get glass pieces for Rhonda to make mother's day gifts with, I saw them, and of course HAD to try them. The ladies here last night at Gift Club loved them! They had all kinds of fun ideas on how to make theirs. Jessica wants to make hers for all the holidays for her kids. Linda wants a monogram and then will change out her papers to fit the season. I put this together in a matter of seconds, but I wanted to show it to you, and yes, I will be ordering more to have on hand. They are $4 a set of 4, that includes shipping, no tax since it is out of state, and if you want to make it here, $5 for paper, ribbon etc.! If you join the gift club, you will get to make them!
I used the summer picnic paper from the new mini, and red grosgrain ribbon, with an Ikea wild wasabi napkin!

finally

OK, so whose bright idea was spring break? I haven't accomplished much this week.
Such is life!
Here is my coupon book, which could be used for lots of different ideas. It is two of the board book pieces from our new catalog, and 8 envelopes. I haven't labeled anything yet, but plenty of room for that.
This would make a cute brag book with pockets to put stuff.
I plan to make these as some point for the gift club. It uses a lot more paper than I realized. but it sure is pretty. This is the summer picnic papers from the new mini!
Let me know what you think.

loudmouth five year olds

I found this cute tin at IKEA! surprise. I love how the rub ons take to it. and the new cut flowers are so cute and easy to use!

So, I thought I blogged yesterday, guess I didn't. sorry.
I am going to have to be more careful discussing delicate issues in front of Jeremiah. At the voting place yesterday, my typically shy child announces at the top of his lungs, "Mommy you aren't going to vote for Osama Obama are you? Barrack, what kind of name is that? you can't vote for someone called Barrack! But you really don't want that woman to run our country either. Just vote for Bush mom, you like him!" It is a good thing I don't keep secrets, because I would never have any. He also asked the polling volunteers if he could vote. Something about it was his duty as a "cityzen". Won't it be fun to see where life leads him!?!?!? I am praying that he will learn tact.

here comes peter cotton tail....

Well, with 39 degree weather, it is very hard to imagine spring on the way... much less Easter. Jeremiah thinks it will snow every Easter. pretty funny, and only in Texas. I love Easter, I can't decide between Easter and Christmas. Fabulous, Glorious days.
Anyway, how cute are these bunnies? I think a larger mini candy bar would be better. Even my Jeremiah thought they were awesome, he is my toughest critic. It is all punches and glue dots, super easy, super fun, super cute. you should make some to send to your child's school, or your husbands office.
That reminds me, Jonathan was asking me the other day why I didn't invite men to come and stamp. I thought that was funny, I told him that by all means men were invited! ;)

happy Sunday

The picture doesn't do this justice at all.
This is what we will be making for stamp club!
I hope I remember to get more jelly beans! I used them to fill the cup and hold the "flowers" in place. It would be cheaper to get floral foam, but jelly beans are much tastier, and prettier for that matter!

star cards

Here is the second card we will be making at Rhonda's show Friday night!
I am not sure which of these we will do, or a variation of them, but you get the idea!
