Scrap Club ~ Nikki

Monday, October 26th at 7pm is Nikki's Scrap Club
We will make another Halloween layout. On the lighter card stock I used versa mark, and on the darker card stock I used white craft ink, and then pastels over! I only put the little pictures in, but there should be many many more!

Mom 2 Mom

Tonight in our mom 2 mom class, we will make these fun treats!
I am wishing I had the movers and shapers from the big shot, and can't wait to get it!
love making the tab, so the candy can fall out instead of destroying the card to get it!

Finally! I have something to blog.
sorry I have been "absent" for so long.
It has been a very busy time, and I do love all that I am doing, just can't seem to get it all done.
But I will try to at least post 3 times a week! Someone hold me to that! ;)
Anyway, this is the spinner card we are making for Kayla's stamp club Tuesday, 20th. She loves Halloween, so here is a simple Halloween card.

SO, we are having a class, I have made five samples, I will post one a day, in the class you will get to make 3 cards, and one of the notebooks I posted earlier! it will be tons of fun, you won't want to miss it!
Mom thought it would be fun to put flower seeds in this one. I agree, just forgot to get some.

Back to School

Well, it is that time of year again. I love to make things for teachers. I found this in a SU! magazine, but had no instructions, so I called SU! and they found the directions and emailed them to me! isn't that nice? I sure thought so. But I have had a ball making them, and plan to do a class soon.

Terri and I had a blast last night making necklaces! So much so that my mom came to the stamp room and said she thought there were 20 people back there. Terri made some really pretty things. And I made this....don't you wish you had been there? ;)

yesterday

It is a little sad how much I LOVE PTA. I can't really explain it. But, I do. Tonight is our first board meeting, and I volunteered to do the decorations. So I made this fun napkin holder, that will double as a door prize. Then I thought all the decor should double as door prizes. So, I made paw print book marks, the ones on the jumbo paper clips, and put them in decorated band aid tins. I didn't have enough book marks, so I made some magnet clips with the paws as well. Then, I did put the paws on the candy jars as well.

The name tags are always fun to make. I love the new ribbon!

Ale's Birthday Party

We had lots of fun at Ale's birthday party.
She picked out a fun craft to make and invited her friends over, and we had lots of fun making our crafts.
Girls are so fun to craft with, they don't have rules, and are easily happy.
Didn't they do a fantastic job?

I love the metallic inks. They do show up better on darker card stocks. Boy moms, do not worry. I have a plan. The pictures really don't do this layout justice.

I am loving the flower pot cards, so I thought we would make one for Stamp Club! so fun, and not too hard. These are all new in colors, the only one I didn't use was dusty durango.

today is my sweet baby boy's 9th birthday. I just can't imagine where the last 9 years have gone. some days seemed to last forever, and there were times I thought would never end, and yet 9 years has flown by so fast.

I love the lunch box tins, they are so fun. This has to be my most favorite box that I have ever made. Which is fitting, bc it was for one of my most favorite persons ever!
this is a mini box, not big enough to put cards in, but I filled it with mints instead.

Stamp A Stack

I am loving the new catalog so very much! And Even though I love the new stuff, sometimes it is hard to let the retiring sets go. So this stamp a stack is dedicated to the retiring sets/colors. I did use a new punch, and a new ink color!

I just finished the table decorations for Brittany's Baby shower.
they were fun to make, and my mom really loved them, but I wouldn't make them for just anyone! ;)
The colors are similar to the shower invites, and the papers are paisley, which fits her ladybug paisley theme!

Joey's stamp club

I love fourth of July! I tried so hard to have Jonathan on the 4th of July, but he came on his due date instead...(the 6th).
We are going to make a shutter card at stamp club, and this one is 4th themed, but, you can apply it to any occasion, and you will not want to miss it!

my special teachers

This year I had the privilege to serve as the Kindergarten coordinator at Spring Valley. I loved it and loved those teachers. It was a great year, and I had a hard time moving on. I had a need to leave a token with each of them, so I took the vases from Ikea and put some rub ons and ribbons on them, they can use them to hold pencils if nothing else. I made the gift sacks out of white lunch bags, card stock, papers, and ribbon.
This is just a small token of my affection for these ladies, and I hope they all have a fabulous summer, they have all earned it!

Brittany's Ladybugs

So you all know how very special Brittany is to me. I adore this girl, who is about to be a mommy.
So much so that my oldest son was her "flower boy". long story.
I got the privilege to make her baby shower invites for our church shower.
I am trying to get her bedding on here, but it isn't working so well, maybe tomorrow. So you can see my inspiration.
but here are the invites.....so fun.

A friend of mine is helping with some baby showers, and we made these cute little books to have for people to sign and write in for the moms to keep forever.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the big shot? the scallop die is perfect for these projects.

Emily's Scrap Club

Here is the layout for our May Scrap Club meeting. Emily will be our host.
I really like the "debossing" technique we did in stamp club, so I thought I would bring it over to scrap club. I also love the summer colors, they scream fun. The open layout allows you to tailor the page to your needs, one large picture, or lots of smaller ones, or some of both. and there is plenty of room to journal. the fun summer fruit just finishes it off. We will meet Wednesday, May 27th at 7 pm, come and join in the fun.

She let me use her set Saturday to make this cute card.

Envelope Box Class

My dear friend Sylvia made me this box, then she showed me how to make it!
It is too cute and fun, and could be for a ton of different purposes. You could do a calendar on each sheet, or coupons, or keep handy info on each page, the sky is the limit. You can make it any size you wish.
Tuesday night May 19th at 7pm, come and make one!
Cost is $10 and covers all supplies and you leave with a cute fun box, and all the info needed to make more!

Best Teachers Ever!

This year we have been so blessed. Both my sons have the most amazing teachers. They are perfect fits. This has been a great year, and I am sad it is almost over.
Teacher Appreciation was LAST week, and I just got my gifts made.
I would have loved to give them pedicure gift cards, or out to eat gift cards, but May is a gift filled month as it is. So, I made them little tins, and filled them with cards they can use. They are both so quick to send thank yous out, I figured they could always use those.
I made 8 of three different cards, then 8 just separate ones.
