cards

I can not tell you how much I love my stamp club! they are such fun women! We had a great time last night. lots of laughs. "who is the lady with the red hair?" so fun.

Anyway, May 1st and 2nd we are having a ladies retreat at church, and i am in charge on the card making portion of the event. cool, huh? we get to make 4 cards in 30 minutes, so they have to be simple. I made 4 with the chocolate/pink/blue theme. I wasn't thrilled with them. So, I used the pink flamingo paper and redid them! adds a little pizzaz. Here is the first set.
Here is the first go.

Here is the second go.

Happy Easter and Stamp a Stack

Happy Easter everyone! I do love spring time and Easter time. This is such a fun time of year, and full of memories from my childhood of my mom's extended family. I can't wait to see them again this weekend. Now I have new traditions with Scott's family to look forward too.
Another exciting event is Jews for Jesus. They will be at BMBC tomorrow night at 7, and I love their presentation. They do the whole passover feast and demonstrate the truth of Jesus as the Messiah. I am really looking forward to that.
For some crazy reason, I am in charge of the entire Spring Valley Kindergarten's Easter Party. So, I am off to stake off the park for that, but wanted to show you the samples for Tuesday night's Stamp a Stack. PLEASE RSVP. Cost is $10 for 15 cards.
Each card can be changed to the sentiment you need. I just used these for a sample.
If I don't see you before, have a very Happy Easter, time of new life.

pocket card

This was tons of fun to make, and everyone adores it. Mine is a bit busy, but I was using what I had on hand.
A sweet friend showed me how to make this, she had taken a $35 class on it! Mine is not as dolled up as hers, but it is really just a pattern anyway. She made some for graduation, complete with photos, well wishes, remembrances, gift cards, and cash. She also made a Valentine and Mother's Day one. so the sky is the limit as always.
I am going to have a class on Monday, April 27th. I am charging $15. I am going to order the simply scrappin kits to make these with. I think the patterned papers and embellishments will be perfect. We can get two cards out of one kit! So, that is cool. You can keep your half of the kit, even if you don't use it all.
please RSVP no later than April 16th to reserve a spot!
