fun Christmas gifts

So, a friend of mine reads all the time, but doesn't have a bookmark, so I asked her and she said she couldn't keep up with them. So a few weeks later, I found some elastic ones and almost bought her one, but then second guessed myself. I told her about them and she thought they were a great idea. So, I made some!!!
The other pictures are bulletin boards I made for my 15 year old niece and my cousin's 15 year old twins for Christmas!!!

OK, so the jury is still out on the distressed kit, I just don't know about making things look old on purpose. it seems counter to the point.
I love the button brads from the trinkets though! always a silver lining.

BIG SHOT CLASS

Tuesday, April 20th will be the BIG SHOT class at 7
there is just so much you can do, I will have to have more classes
but for this one, we will be doing an omitting technique Dana told me about
turn a box into a book
turn a box into a bird house
and use aluminum flashing to make a cool candle holder
there are so many materials you can cut with the big shot, and we will explore those later, but to list a few, fabric, wood, chip board, foam, and the list goes on and on
Please RSVP if you'd like to attend the class, cost is $10 and you leave with 4 fun projects, things you can use for mother's day gifts, or end of school teacher gifts.
